Working through ChefBridge: minimum requirements
To safeguard the quality and independence of our network, we only work with experienced self-employed chefs who meet the conditions below.
ChefBridge only works with self-employed professionals. This means you decide when you work and which assignments you accept through the platform. That also keeps the collaboration legally clear under the Dutch DBA Act.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of demonstrable work experience as a chef
- Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce
- In possession of business liability insurance (AVB)
- Works as a genuine self-employed professional in line with the Dutch DBA Act
- Professional attitude and able to integrate into hospitality teams
Getting started with ChefBridge
From intake to your first assignment: we guide you step by step. You are never on your own.
1. Introduction and intake
We discuss your work experience, availability, and whether you fit the conditions and quality standards of ChefBridge.
2. Onboarding and review
If there is a good match, you receive an onboarding email. After that, you complete your profile and documents and the ChefBridge back office reviews your details.
3. Activation and assignments
After approval and activation, you get access to the app and can respond to assignments that fit your discipline and availability.
